On Wednesday evening, May 29, 2019, fifteen Democratic Precinct Delegates met to network and talk about plans for the 2020 election cycle.

Representatives from Delta Township, Charlotte, Grand Ledge, Dimondale, and Eaton Rapids Township came together at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Topics of discussion included voting precinct boundaries, methods of contact with voters, and opportunities for ECDP to become a greater presence in Eaton County.

Anyone interested in becoming a Precinct Delegate can fill out the paperwork at the County Clerk’s office and be elected during the primary election in August 2020. Precinct Delegates are a vital link between the county Democratic party and the voters in every corner of the county. You provide opportunities to volunteer, training for door-knocking and phone banking, and even recruiting new candidates for office.
