2024 Scholarship Information
Deadline: July 31, 2024
The theme for this year’s scholarship is ‘Why Voting Matters.’ With a presidential candidate that posed a threat to our democracy, voting matters more than ever in 2024. This is something frequently stated, but rarely true. For this year’s applications, we are looking for a submission that tackles why voting is so important this year. That could be about a particular policy issue, like climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, or affordable housing. Or it could focus on the core pillars of our democracy and the need for civic participation. We are leaving the theme broad and open to the interpretation of students so they can showcase their creativity.
