The Eaton County Democratic Party will offer a $500 non-renewable scholarship this year to a current Eaton County student in high school, college or trade-school. We wish to honor a student’s past school performance, current positive contributions to community, as well as their understanding of The Importance of Voting in a Democracy as determined in an essay written by the student on this topic. The scholarship will be announced at the student’s class night celebration with a scholarship certificate to be presented at the Annual Eaton County Dinner in fall of 2021. The winner will be asked to read their essay at the Annual Dinner. The $500 payment will be delivered to the student, college, university or trade school when proof of enrollment and invoice for payment has been provided to the Scholarship Committee of the Eaton County Democratic Party.
The deadline for the 2021 scholarship has been extended to July 1, 2021.
